Today is our "University Day".. In 1964, on this day ( 1st September ), our University was established.. Since then, this day is celebrated as University Day. We get a official vacation on this day. But a lot of cultural activities were held in this day.. But you all know we could not celebrate this day in last year and also this year because of pandemic. And today I really miss it.. The "Padma" river find his exact look in the rainy season.. This beauty is in another level.. In winter, just a little water in the river and the river area is converted to a sand Valley at that time.. But when the rainy season comes, it started to gain it's rhythm and now it is totally in it's beauty.. You can sit beside the river as many hours as you want, surely boredom will not affect you.. He is getting ready for another busy day.. He checked his vehicle for the final time before going out.. He usually drive this vehicle 8-9 hours in a day. He is not the owner of this vehicle, he rent this from it's owner and need to pay 6$ per day for this.. And after paying that he have few to lead his family. A helpless child. At his age it is normal that a child should go to school for study.. But many children like him in our country have to take responsibility of his family at very early age.. Going back to Rajshahi again.. Finally the 1.5 years vacation is over and time to get back the normal life again.. My 3rd semester final exam will be held on 4th October so I go there early.. Welding process is going on. They make it very easily but the process isn’t really. I have an undergraduate course about welding process in previous semester so I know this is very difficult but their experience is the key there to make it easy.. Searching for some plastics in the garbage. The things which are dust for us are the meaning of living for them. He search for plastic bottles, bags, tins etc and after finding some he sell them and earn some money. As I told you I was back to Rajshahi a few days ago. Now I started to visit the places which I missed in this 1.5 years.. This is the one which I usually visited a lot in the evening. Found this old picture just a while ago in my pendrive.. This boy didn’t do any work. He was taking some soil for their game. They were made houses, doll, vehicles etc with this soil while playing. I was also like them once. Me, my sister and other cousins usually made several things with soil in our childhood. We did not make it in perfect shape ofcourse.. A sudden rain ruined my outing plan today. Today me and my friend decided to visit my whole campus and also Rajshahi University campus with a Rickshaw. All seems ok that time.. Today I see this pathetic scene. At this age normally everyone want to hand over the responsibility of his family to his son/daughter. But a huge number of old man like him need to work at this very old age. Though the government offer some ration money for them, they do not got the money in their hand due to the corruption in every sector. He generally sell some food items outside a school in Rajshahi. You may aware of the fact that all educational institutions were closed 543 days due to covid pandemic. So, he lost his work. One the the most common vehicles in 19th century but found this one today in C&B Road, Rajshahi. It is very rare now but if you search then you can find 2-3 this types of vehicles easily in every district. Today I go to a local bank to pay my exam fee. I go there at 10:30 AM local time but I saw a large line in front of the counter where I need to pay my fees. After 50 minutes I able to pay it. So I lost 50 minutes of my life there.!! Most of the educational institutions are remain analogue in our country. Done buying this electric kettle today. But this is not for boiling water or making tea, it is for making boiled egg. I am a egg lover. I used to eat at least two eggs in a day when I am in my home. But in mess life it is quite difficult. So today I buy this kettle and hope that from tomorrow I will able to eat my favourite dish. Mess life has a lots of new experience. Work going on in this so much hot temperature. The temperature today is 35°C in our area but it feels like 42°C. This workers need to work under the umbrella due to this such hot weather. Look at the colour of their umbrella, the colour turned from deep black to ash due to the overheated condition. This workers work so hard that we can't even imagine. We are in the classroom again. But it is not our regular class, we are in the classroom for attending a seminar.
