Quotes are made to remind and guide us in our life. Usually they came from a well known personalities or just came from anonymous person. Have you ever noticed atleast once in your life that when you have a certain problem, you often see quotes everywhere that is related to your current problem? Well, I always experience that.

Personally, quotes are one of my greatest escape everytime I face a certain problem, it makes me relief and gives calmness in my mind, not only in my dark times but in the bright times as well.

They are one of my best comforters by just reading them through internet. Some of them is what I really live by so here are some of my most favorite qoutes/sayings and why:

First is,

"What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others".

I think you're very familiar with this one. This is the Golden Rule from Confucius, this is what I liked the most about this famous saying because it is so powerful, I admire Confucius because of this rule of him, it really says it all when it comes to how we treat others. The first time I heard this quote was when I was in high school, we're studying about Confucius that time and also that was the time I started to apply it in my self. It simple means if we don't want to get disrespected then don't disrespect others too and I've always taught myself to follow that rule in every situations I might involve. Same as, if we want to be respected then show them how to be respectful too, if we want others to be nice at us then be nice at them, if we never wanted to get insulted by someone then don't insult someone too.

We could have an amazing world if we will only choose to be kind everyday. There's no room for immaturity, toxicity and negativity anymore. Come'on it's 2021 na. Char!

Moving forward for my second one, I don't really know where it came but after researching for its origin it says there that Abraham Lincoln, Jewish Folklore and Persian Folklore are the probable origins of this word and it is,

"This too shall pass".

This is the word that really helped me during my dark times, it always reminds me that it may be hurt and hard for now but this too shall pass, it reminds me that it won't always be this way. That I must not worry at all because this saying made me believe that all the pain and struggles are just temporary and will eventually fade and I should keep in mind that better days will come, I will be happy again because that's really how to live. Life will not always put us on top, sometimes we need to struggle and feel the pain of living because that is just a proof that we are a human and not a bot.

This quote really taught me a lot of things. It really improved my mind on how the way I see problems and how to handle them, not just in my problems but I am also applying this with my moments of joy in life, that nothing is permanent in this world, we must enjoy things and make the most out of it while we're still breathing, because it's one of the main purpose why we're given a chance to live in this world... and this is to enjoy it.

Lastly,

"Look at usual things with unusual eyes".

I see this quote from Vico Magistretti as a proof that happiness is just a state of mind. Happiness is always a choice. That's why I am always happy and grateful even at small things because I chose to, I chose to be happy and contented from it.
