Freewill: What's Your Take??
I'm just going to jump right into this one. I don't know about you and how your day went, but mine has been one of the best day of my life, even though I'm actually kinda in pain right now at the end of it.
Maybe jumping into it wasn't best. Good evening guys, I hope you had a good day? My day pretty much started in the farm as usual, but I wasn't going to spend tHe whole day there. I finally got to go out with a very special friend of mine (the one to whom my heart is gravitating kind of special).
It was really a wonderful time. It wasn't the outing that was in itself wonderful, but the fact that I was with this girl or she was in it, it's funny how the presence of certain people can literally decide the mood of our day and life even, whether it will be gloomy or bright.
By the time we finished, I couldn't go straight back home, as I needed to charge my phone that had been dead for hours and I couldn't do that at home, because I knew there would be no power by the time I get there. So, I just opted to go to the farm to charge and check on the fish as well. While there, a coursemate of mine showed up and we kinda started talking.
It is worthy of note that I seldomly participate in any random conversation, especially when I'm not the one raising it, but I notice today that I usually make an exception for this coursemate. The only other person that can make me do that is @Mhizutty whom is a maestro at it (na she get the mumu buttonππ).
The conversation was about freewill. She did most of the talking and I just asked disturbing questions and made disruptive statements in response. One of such was 'have you ever considered the fact that the world's seven billion people are simply just pawns, knights, bishop, rooks, on a very giant chessboard designed for God's pleasure and leisure '?. Not the kind of question you want to be asked if you're a Christian. Her opinion was as follows;
There's No Such Thing As Freewill As Long As You're On Earth
She believes that God gives man free will to do anything he wishes, God doesn't impose on man, but once a man is born, his sinful flesh naturally binds with some earthly forces who wants to be it's master, automatically taking away his free will.
For her, the only way to restore that free will is to come back to God, through his son Jesus, whose blood have set us 'free'. She insist the fact that God gives man the choice to choose between 'life and death' is a testament to the fact that God respects man free will. But think about this for a bit. God gives man two options, is that not already a limitation, a violation of freewill?
The two options as most Christians will put it is to accept Jesus and make heaven, reject him and go to hell. Does this options not strike you as things that uses fear to influence decision, how's that still freewill?
.I mean, you're telling me, the only way I won't burn in h*ll for a million years is to accept Christ, where's the choices, how is this freewill at all? Just my wondering tho.To me, either way, it seem to be rife with terms and conditions. I mean, if he really respects freewill, why do I have to get punished for not choosing him?
Anyways this is a question I would like your opinions on, it would really matter to me... By the way, I finally crossed the five hundred views threshold, that was quite the icing on a day that had been filled with beauty.
Although like I said, I'm really in pains and my eyes hurt, so I'm going to turn in to bed right now and as such I won't be able to read your articles that are in my notification bar. I'm really sorry, I can't keep risking my health. I quickly came up with this article as I'm already multiple articles behind for my goals for this month. I hope you guys understand. Thanks for your understanding and unfettered support.
What is Tue problem with your eyes? Does it usually hurt when you are in front of a screen?
