Yesterday, I was studying Indo Pakistan history. One aspect of history, I always love that history repeats itself. Back In 1919 Khilafat movement started by Maulana Mohammad Ali Johar and Maulana Shaukat Ali[Ali Brothers]. Right after Khalifat movement, another movement Hijrat movement started in 1920. According to this movement, People of India started moving from Subcontinent to Afghanistan because British were ruling in Subcontinent( India and Pakistan now). Initially, Afghanistan government welcomed people from Subcontinent but soon they were overwhelmed by the people flocking through the boundaries. They closed the doors. So how history repeats itself? You might be wondering! Taliban took control of Afghanistan in recent years exactly 15 August 2021, many Afghan nationals crossed the borders and entered Pakistan. Initially, Pakistan welcomed them but now Pakistan followed strict policy of returning all the immigrants. A century after ! Enjoyed this history lesson?
