I saw a post here asking what's the essence of Lenten Season. For me it is the time for us to change ourselves to become a better version of ourself and reflect specially on our sins and ask forgiveness to the lord. To remind us what Lord God sacrifice for us that we need to value that and to remind us how strong the love of God for us, he even sacrifice his own son on the cross for us to save from our sins. And for us to know that God is true so that our faith will go stronger. But sad to say many people dont know about it. Maybe they know but only by book or story but not from the heart.
