The temple of Athena in the Acropolis, Athens, Greece. 🏛️🏛️🗿🗿 These old temples are very beautiful, they resist since ancient times and still standing still, on top of the hill defying sun, rain, wind and all nature phenomenons. Do you see how much smart our ancestors were to build such strong monuments that lasts maybe forever?! The old architecture was incredible, smart, strong, resisting and extremely beautiful. Unfortunately I only saw it from the ferry, at the port of Piero. For a question of time I could not see it up close !! It is one of the world symbols of the past, an eternal construction, like the Colosseum!
I have been to Athens and it is amazing. I have to correct you a bit though. Most of those buildings if not all were already in ruins. What you see today is a reconstruction. We are the ones who is standing agains time, not the anchients. ❤️🖖
