The Enemy Within

Our mindset can determine our future, we can predict the future of a man by studying his mindset as the reality of ones life is a product of his mind. A poor mind will produce a poor life and a rich mind tends to riches. I stop to wonder about the difference between the Developed-Nations and the Under-developed world, what actually separates the both of them, one from the other? The Developed countries have ready the basic amenities for the survival of any human settlement, good road network, availability of portable water, stable electricity, accessable health care and lots more. Where as, the Under-developed world struggle with these things which are no longer the desire of the former. Why is this? I ask this question with these in mind ***1- is it the scarcity of resources? or*** ***2- the fact that these countries are governed by a government with poor governing skills? or*** ***3- in general, the mindset of the citizens are poor? or*** ***4- is it because there is a generic poverty of the mind, the people have allowed a few people rule them into physical poverty by being afraid to confront the government and not taking their futures in their hands?*** These and lots more I consider when I think about this matter. Among the people is an enemy within, the major cause of the problem which these governments have preyed on the people through for long. The rulers have discovered that the people are ignorant in their minds, and have poor mentality as a result of their illiteracy, so they keep up with the corruption and neglect of their duty to make life better for them. From my personal evaluation of the situation, I make a conclusion that the enemy here is a 'Poor mindset', that which is generic and not just particular to the government nor citizens alone. Our lives are a product of our mindset, that which we see happening around us; the way we live is a clear product of what happens within us because the outward environment of a man must take the shape, size and form of his inward environment. This means that a man life cannot be bigger or better than his mind. You can only go as far as you can allow yourself go through your mind.
