A pleasant evening my friends. It's already past nine in our country. The weather in our location is quite nice also. We did not encounter rain showers as of this moment. Anyways, I just want to share something with you my friends. As I am scrolling in my Facebook account, I received a friend request notification. It was my friend and as I check the account, it was just only new and I am just her only friend on her friend list. I was wondering why she created a new account. Then as I open my Messenger, I received a message from her (using her new account). She asked me if I can retrieve a Facebook account. She asked me since she can not access already her account. Upon chatting with her, I confirmed that her account was already hacked. The hacker changed her email, mobile number, and her password also. As a friend, I have tried all the things I can do but it wasn't enough. The hacker already changed the important information on her account which is why I told her that it is now hard to recover it. Unless, I am already a professional cybersecurity engineer or a white hat hacker but I am still a student. I know that the last resort on retrieving her account is to access the device of the hacker which is I do not know. Its very sad. So guys, please secure all your accounts. Enable two-factor authentication and regularly change your passwords to add more security on your accounts.
