It is okay not to be okay. I know some of here had tried to talk with other people (e.g., close friends, relatives, etc.) in times of facing problems and/or seeking some advices. For sure, some of them had told you that "Nah, just don't be sad" or "Just don't cry", something like that. Maybe we looked like we were asking some sympathy but these people must understand that in life, it's just normal to be feel sad. I mean, we're human and our body has limitations too. We also feel being exhausted. Telling other people to not be sad or to not be okay will not be helpful in resolving their problems. Telling these phrases will not make them energized instantly. Instead, we can say "You may take a rest, my friend. It's okay being tired", or "If you want to cry, just cry if you think it will help to release your feeling of being burden". Or, you can also ask your friend if they want to hear something from you or they just want to talk with you before giving some advice to them. In the end, it is necessary for us to understand first their problem or concern before telling some words. Just think also that, if they talk to you about something not just only their problems, it means that they were trusting you. #RandomThoughts
