Coprinopsis cinerea in photofilters.

There are lot if πŸ„ mushroom identification applications. They earn users on possible identification mistakes and advice not to trust apps and not take risk with unknown or wrongly identified fungi. This mushroom looked really cool and I tried to shoot as good as I can. With Photomania filters it looks close to reality.

The closest mushroom I found was Coprinopsis Cinerea or Gray Shag. Although these may be diverse and I am not sure if all these mushrooms look similar and when they loos colors to become transparent. Here are some examples: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coprinopsis_cinerea http://www.texasmushrooms.org/en/coprinopsis_cinerea.htm http://www.mushrooms.su/en/coprinopsis_cinerea.htm And this is how these were seen in the forest. In a Photomania view.

Coprinopsis Cinerea is being researched for its applications and usage. Also genome and cell division is a great interest to science. There are 214 articles on Pubmed: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?term=Coprinopsis+cinerea There are so many mushrooms in the forest waiting to be pictures, so I stop writing here and go to forest for new pictures.
