This post is dedicated to one of my friends. She's loving, gorgeous,strong woman and Hugot Queen u/Sashley. She loves greeeennnn. Even Though we haven't seen each other yet in person, we feel connected in our hearts :)) #gratefulvibes Let's play golf!! You'll find this Golf Course in Islantilla, Huelva Spain. The closest airport is Faro, Portugal. Crossing the border will take you 1 hour with the taxi. This area is huge, booking a hotel is quite expensive but you can always find accommodation https://www.idealista.com/ for short or long term. There's also a complex for retired dutch, germans, scandinavians. They usually stay 4-6 months during the winter season. Total population is approx 2000 throughout the year (source: Wikipedia) If you don't want to be bothered this is a perfect place for you lol There's plenty of things to do in Islantilla aside from golfing, you can go cycling, walking, jogging in the forest and if you like the beach it's 15 mins away. You can roam around the golf area after 1800 when there are no golfers around. Spring is the best time to come here. We love Islantilla, we had such a wonderful time in this place. Do you play golf? haha good morning sunnylife, I must smile when I read this, because the last time I played some rounds on a Golf course was in 2007, and remember I´m living in the middle of a 18 hole course and near to the 5 best in whole Andalucía, but normally enjoying more sitting in the Clubhouse with some clients or friends and have a good glas of wine and some tapas, but not for playing golf, and for sure not in the month June July August and September because the heat will kill you here in my area. I have the Airport from Gibraltar in 20 minutes and the one from Málaga in one hour distance. have a nice weekend ;)
We were infront of 5 hole course and we could see and hear all the frustated golfers in our terrace lol Oh I miss this environment so much. It's just so peaceful there. We never spend summer in Andalucia, it's just too hoooottt. We come in BG every summer and comeback September when the school starts. Thanks for dropping by and have a lovely weekend too :)
