I used to have walk in this area, one of my favorite routes. It's so peaceful, you can only hear the birds singing. The river is refreshing, children love to swim especially on a hot summer day. It's like back in time and everything stops. This is located in the Cotswold area, with 2,000 plus population, Everybody knows each other, everyone is helpful and very friendly. Neighbours are exchanging vegetables and fruits if they have leftovers from their allotments. Sometimes they will leave them in front of your doorsteps. The cottages have no numbers, so if you want to find the house you got to look by names :) I witnessed so many lost delivery men walking around the village looking and searching for a cottage :) I would like to retire in this kind of place..maybe someday...
