One of the best places that we've visited was in North Macedonia. These photos were taken at Lake Ohrid. I'm sure everyone misses travelling, to be able to relax and reward yourself now and then. When my son was little, he would pick up wild flowers and give them to me. Sweet memories, children are so innocent and pure. Now and then I receive flowers from my husband and Rimbie. When this pandemic is over, I would recommend to visit this place in Costa de la Luz, La Antilla. This beach is 22 km long with Blue Flag ( Blue Flag is a European award for beaches that meet a good quality standard (cleanliness, eco friendly and accessible for everyone source: wikipedia) The closest airport is Faro, Portugal and then you'll need to cross to Spanish border, 1 hour ride by taxi. Yesterday some friends came over to see me. I was delighted. They are all retired, a couple that live nearby my place and one friend from Wales. It was nice to see them again. One of the beautiful sceneries that you'll see in La Antilla are the fishermen's boats and tractors. They get up early in the morning and go fishing. It was such a joy to see them helping each other and enjoying their jobs. I've never seen or heard them complaining. I'll always see them smiling, laughing and talking loudly. It was a relaxing day for me today, I did some mandala coloring and a bit of drawing. (not so good at drawing but the mandala is always fun to do. The other day, my friends came over and visited me. We had a nice walk and a quick picnic up the hill. It's getting hot here, I feel like staying in a cool bath tub lols. Next week, I will be in a much hotter place oh boy, nothing to complain about, I will just enjoy it while it lasts. If you have a chance to visit Cheltenham, you have to see Cleeve Hill. Cleeve Hill is the highest point in Cotswolds and Glos.(Source wikipedia) It has a spectacular view. You can walk for hours, play golf, picnic, sit on the benches and you even enjoy the sheep roaming around :) There's a footpath and board signs, so you'll not get lost :) It's a huge space and it's open for everyone. It was a long journey, but everything went well. The London Underground Tube is not my favorite route but I had no choice, 2 other airports are not flying to Sofia. When I reached London Stansted airport, I was shocked to see many travelers. The waiting area was full. It's a really hot day, 32 C. We only went outside just to buy a watermelon. When it's warm like this, we don't feel like eating much.
