African children of nowadays don’t know they can be beaten for any of this 1. Fighting with your age mate and loosing 2. Fighting with your age mate and winning. 3. Eating too slowly. 4. Eating too quickly. 5. Eating too much. 6. Not finishing your food. 7. Finishing your food and scraping your plate. 8. Eating and talking. 9. Sleeping while the elders had already woken up. 10. Looking at visitors while they are eating. 11. Stumbling and falling when walking. 12. Looking at an elder eyeball to eyeball. 13. When an elder is talking to you and you blink. 14. When an elder is talking to you and you stare and not blink. 15. When you look at an elder through the corner of your eye. 16. When your mates are playing street football and you join them. 17. When your mates are playing and you don’t join them. 18. When you don't wash your dish after eating 19. When you wash your dish improperly 20. When you almost break your dish 21. When you break your dish 22. When you bite your nails. 23. When you bath too quickly. 24. When you take too long to bath. 25. When you’re beaten in school for misbehaving. 26. When a car almost knocks you down. 27. When a car knocks you down and you don’t die! Some of these reasons for beating a child may appear really silly but our parents used it to correct our silly attitudes lol.
