Guys as Christmas is fast approaching please be careful of online fraudsters, or scammers as the case may be. Something happened to my brother yesterday and I thought to share with you all. So on Instagram, someone sent my brother a dm telling him that he wants to buy some of his artworks. My brother is a pencil artist actually so he posts his commissioned work on his Instagram page. So this fraudster told him how much he wants to buy the artworks for and asked that my brother sent him his crypto address coz right now he pays with crypto. My brother told me about this and I was really skeptical so I gave him one of mine which he sent to the guy. The guy now said that he's going to make payment immediately,so we waited,mind you from the way the whole business negotiation and conversation was going,my antenna was already up and I know what time of the year it is and how people are ready to do anything to just show off so I was ready for anything. Next thing he sent my brother another dm telling him that the payment gateway is locked and he has to send him $100 to open it so that he can be able to receive the payment for his artworks! Imagine ,the fraudster, he had no idea that I've been receiving crypto via that wallet. That was when we were really sure this guy was a scammer! I advised my brother to just ignore him and move on which he did. The way this guy is so stupid to the point that he kept sending more dms ,asking my brother when he'll pay the $100. Sometimes I don't know what these scammers think people are anyways,they probably think people have fish brains . Guys this is one of many but I just thought to share this one.
