Are you that kind of friend that easily agree with your friends opinion even knowing that the opinion might be wrong? You do it because the person in question is your friend, therefore, you don't want to make him feel wrong or bad? It doesn't make sense for one going further with wrong perspective about something and you didn't deem it fit to tackle him. Personally, I don't engage in such. For the fact we are friends doesn't mean I should agree with whatever thing you say or engage in. If you are wrong, you are definitely wrong. Don't expect me to cover up your lapses. #RandomThoughts

I can't accept wrong as right even from best friend. I will tell him with great respect his mistake and my opinion.
Good deeds there.
Nope. No whitewashing of something that is not tolerable. It must be settled. Friendship, for me, means meeting halfway, bridging gaps, and guiding each other. Opinion is opinion, and there is always what we call "fact." What's wrong is wrong, but there's what we consider as "right." So, for this matter, it's not that hard to discuss perspectives. We just have to be armed with a sense of empathy/sensitivity. But it depends on how you value the friendship/regard the person. :)
