The First Emperor's achievement of connecting the tremendous Wall on China's northern frontier was a great deed that had long-lasting effects to the history. There is Chinese proverbs describe this "If you don’t reach the Great Wall, you’re not a man!" The reason for saying so is to encourage climbers who walk on the road, must persist until victory, and be a good man! Those who give up halfway and stop looking at the Great Wall are cowards, afraid of hard work, weak-willed and no big ambitions. Not a hero! I have done it and got the certificate 20 years ago.
