My Dad has hugged me only twice in my life. The first one was when I won a gold medal at the national level rifle shooting competition. And the second one today. We met only today after my exam results. He cut his trip short to meet me on my birthday. He must be really proud of me :)

Congratulations on the results and on earning one father hug (men can be really poor on showing emotions sometimes.. 🙄)! And wow for the gold medal on rifle shooting , taking lessons on that is definitely on my plans too during next couple of years (as well as continuing martial arts)! I had been taking some lessons on shooting many years ago for a while and liked it a lot, but wasn't good at time and money management back then, so I had to stop eventually! 🤣
Exams, birthdays - plenty of reason to celebrate.
