How I Successfully Failed to travel to Chittorgarh It's no news that I'm not unhealthily obsessed with the place. Every second post on my noise.cash is about Rajasthan, but how did it all begin? It is multi-faceted, I must agree, but it began with a folk dance 'Ghoomar', which is a part of a movie by the name 'Padmaavat'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CU1tFtk_NFY&list=RDMMCU1tFtk_NFY&start_radio=1 Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the movie is a period drama. His movies…

Confessions of when I was a kid It's commonly said that "You are a combination of five people around you". As a child, my parents were always busy and the only company I had were my books and all the Television shows. My favorite was- C.I.D (Crime Investigation Department), the longest-running show on Indian television. I learned all kinds of nonsense from it. It's said that children are malleable, they can be easily influenced by the things they observe happening around…

The Forbidden Chocolate [sponsors] I had written this article on Tuesday, the only reason that I'm uploading it after four days is that I really wanted to take some excellent pictures. :) This is unusual than my regular candid writings, for this one's a bit more serious topic than I intend to, but, with my usual playfulness. These thoughts have been floating and wandering in my mind for a bit too long than I admit to. I finally have a chance to pen them and to fix them…

(Fun fact- The protagonist in the movie played by Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh fell in love during the shooting of the movie and have been happily married for 2 years) Explaining Sanjay Leela…

My Journey towards GOLD! I'm not sure if I'm supposed to write exactly on the 'Fruits' of labor. But I think I'll take my chances and write on metaphorical fruits, and the arduous labor it came with. Here's my entry for @JonicaBradleyand @TengoLoTodo 's prompt **#1****2**, Fruits of Labor. https://read.cash/@JonicaBradley https://read.cash/@TengoLoTodo https://read.cash/search?q=%2311 This is unlike my usual writings. I know I say this *all* the time, but allow me to explain…

Lost in Translation My brother had gone to Kerala for his studies and so I went to visit him. Now, if you Google, 'God's Own Country', Kerala comes up. The college and the hostel is built on a mountain and is surrounded by lush and green forest. I lived in his hostel and knew none of his friends. So I befriended everyone from the working staff. The Security staff, staff help, hostel head, warden, professors, and professor's assistant too! People working at the mess- the…

How do I deal with Spammers on noise.cash and a guide on how to comment on a post Spammers. They're everywhere. You can easily identify them. If you check their account, (based on my observation) you'll see, Pictures blatantly lifted from Google or other users, sometimes with the watermark, along with an out-of-context caption. Posts asking (the obvious), why aren't they receiving tips (I was guilty of it too). Plagiarized content, straight from the might ol' Wikipedia. One…
