The Beauty of Mathmatics.
Maths is so beautiful. The equations are the music of star dust. Albert Einstein's E = mc^2 is probably the most famous equation. And is simple. General Relativity formula is a little more complex and summarises so many features of nature including gravity, light and space-time.
This formula includes Einstein tensor, Ricci curvature tensor, Scalar curvature, Metric tensor, Cosmological constant, Newton's gravitational constant, Speed of light and Stress-energy tensor. Change these inputs changes the outcomes. Some are fixed constants. But then there are more complex mathematics like the Standard Model used to describe the collection of fundamental particles currently thought to make up our universe.
I enjoy the beauty of mathematics. Enjoy! StarLord :)

Here you touch a favourite theme of mine. I see the beauty of mathematics as essentially the same as that of music. In a book, "From Vision to Visual Music" (2017), I wrote "Mathematics is the intellectual expression of music; music is the sensual expression of mathematics." They are like two sides of the same coin.
Yeah I thought you might appreciate this post. You write a lot of "academic" posts. :)
This is an excellent post! Maths is hard for many people but the formulas are incredible in describing the universe. Still early days.
Yeah I am teaching some young people at the moment to learn maths. And some of them struggle. Mostly with confidence.
You should also teach them the history of mathematics. I think the people and development of the subject will encourage them to learn it more.
Thats a great idea. I have a book on that so will take out some highlights. I think this would help a girl I am working with.
I was good at mathematics and i regret always for not to take it in my graduation, i am a student of physics.
