My Introduction to Crypto
Hey i’m Spike and I’ve recently got into Cryptocurrency and quite frankly, fallen in love with it. I realise that i am quite late in joining this market but, being in charge of your finances and planning your financial future is never too late. My plan for this blog is for me to give you my thoughts, feelings and reasons for investing in crypto, how it has benefited me and hopefully answer some of the questions i needed to be answered when i was doing my research before i begun my investment portfolio. In no way am I a financial advisor or telling you what to invest your money into. I encourage you to do your own research as i have and make your own decisions. But i do hope this blog helps you see somethings more clearly and point you into the right direction! Do your research!! I cannot express this enough. Much like the Stock Market, Crypto is an even more volatile than the stock market and if you haven't looked into what you are investing your money into, you risk loosing a lot of money. The best thing I can encourage you to do is to spend a good amount of time reading articles and watching some videos about this market. Investing your hard earned cash can be scary if you have never done it before and should only be done so if you have money that you can afford to loose. BUT, patience is key! If you are reading this article you are here looking for investment advice, not trading. I am investing in crypto for the long haul, as a separate retirement pot that i am in control of. Due to the nature of Crypto and market trading, there are going to be down days. The most important thing you can do is be patient and not panic. It cant take a few days, maybe even a week to get some returns. Each coin available on the crypto currency exchanges are essentially the stock-shares you would buy on traditional trading platforms. If you didn't already know this, there are more coins to buy than just Bitcoin. Think of crypto as Pokemon for a moment. The first Pokemon most people think of is Pikachu, but he isn’t the only Pokemon, there are so many other Pokemon in the games that you wouldn't know about unless you've played them. The same goes for Crypto. Once you start looking into Crypto you will probably hear of Ethereum, Litecoin and Chainlink, just to name a few. These are called alt coins and are often much cheaper in price and could provide some profitable returns if invested in wisely. Coinbase is possibly the best starting platform to look into when starting your crypto journey due to its ease of use and basic look. There are also ways to earn some free crypto when starting out too. Using this link you can get $10.00 free for signing up: https://www.coinbase.com/join/hunt_da5s Plus a further $40.00 available to earn for completing some short courses that teach you about various crypto currencies. As this is just an intro to my blog i shall leave it here for now but please get in touch and let me know what you would like me to talk about in the future and any questions you would like answering. In the meantime if you would like to mine some new crypto coins for free with nothing but to invest with but your time for a few seconds a day please have a look at these links below as i believe they could one day be worth something. Like i said, patience is key. Take your time, invest wisely and don’t sell low. Thanks for reading!
