This Thai language song named " Chiang Rai girl " is a Hmong song. Hmong people immigrated centuries ago from southern China ( Austronesian, not Chinese ) to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and the Philippines. They are known as Igorot people in Bontoc, Ifugao and some other Cordillera places in northern Luzon in the Philippines. The Philippines have many ethnic groups and all are respectful. As "afam", I highly respect two ethnic groups in Pinas. ATI people and Igorot people. Less known by foreigners but are very authentic and well-deserved very respectful tribes.
