RESULTS OF THE COMPETITION "LET'S SHOW OUR PLACE HOW MUCH WE LOVE IT IN 2022." At the beginning of September, the environmental magazine "Guardians of the Plains" announced a literary competition. The students and their mentors were extremely hardworking and creative, so over 400 works from more than 60 schools from 52 cities of our beautiful Serbia were submitted to the competition... THE BEST AMONG THE BEST: 1st place I LOVE MY CITY - Berina Srna, 2nd grade, Elementary School "Desanka Maksimović", Priboj A SPECIAL PRIZE was given to Viola Ćelović, 2nd grade, Elementary School "Desanka Maksimović", Priboj Mentor Snežana Nikolić Leyla Ćelović Aida Berina Deni Fedja Celović ****************************************************** ****************** I love my city My city is Priboj, a small town through which the river Lim flows. A town with several thousands residents, good people with big hearts. When I was born, my grandfather wrote verses .;, One wonderful day in in a small town on the coast of Lim, a wonderful girl, Berina, was born." Lim is a river described in many verses and sung in many songs. I love it my city because it is my birthplace, and because I had a happy upbringing. They are in it my parents, friends, my school and everything that makes me happy. Priboj is a special city full of tradition, history, honesty, love and beauty. It is known for its healing Pribojska Spa, Jagat fortress and Bić mountain. It is developed for tourism, located in the river valley. Bridges connect the banks. I would like to u our city has several sports fields and playgrounds for children. The city is clean and tidy and Fr he cares about the institutions but also the young volunteers who clean the banks of the river. Our place is known for the "Lim Fest" and the "Lim Regatta", which I watch every year from the wire bridge near my house. At night, the city is quiet and dotted with different lights. Berina Srna
