Mario de Andrade: My soul is in a hurry I counted my years and found that I had less time left for life than the one I had lived so far. I feel like a child who got a box of sweets, ate them with pleasure at first, but when he saw that there were a few left, he started eating them with special care and enjoying every bite. I no longer have time for endless conferences that talk about statutes, rules, procedures and internal provisions, knowing that none of that will be achieved. I no longer have the time to put up with absurd people who, despite their advanced age, have not yet grown up. I no longer have time to fight the unfulfilled. I don't want to be at rallies where the ego inflates. I can't stand manipulators and opportunists. I am annoyed by envious people who try to discredit those capable of winning their positions, talents and achievements. My time is too short to discuss headlines. I want content, substance, my soul is in a hurry. There aren't many candies left in the box.
