Good day my lovely family. I know you're all fine, yeah I'm convinced you're fine. I was unable to publish article yesterday due to Laziness. But they said Laziness is good to some extent. Lol. So I had to wake up as early as 5:00am to write on this piece.

I would be telling you about one of the encounter I had in the Ponzi word.

How Anita Almost killed herself because of ponzi. It's a real Story, enjoy.

Earlier this year, a friend of mine suffered trauma from the temple of Ponzi.

I used to own a WhatsApp group where we talk about money making schemes especially Ponzi scheme because that's one of the major quickest means to make money when it clicks(yeah, when it works). I was the admin of the group which I later engaged a lady as assistant admin.

To be honest, we gained a lot from the group because we were smart in investing in schemes Introduced.

Ponzi platforms: These are Sites that allows deposit of money and gives back the capital plus profit in a couple of days, weeks or months as the term maybe. You do little or no task. Sometimes also, it comes in a pyramid form where you need a rank of referals to hit the target. The More you bring in People, the more you earn.

So all things were moving fine in the group, we were winning and as well loosing. Around November 2020, some enticing platforms came out and we all jumped on it because at the initial stage we needed not to deposit to be able to withdraw, it was more like an entry-level enticer. We did the entry level and it paid well, wow!

Some of us jumped on it with straight deposit, some deposited $200, some $100. I didn't joined them to deposit at that moment because I was sensing early crashing. I was just enjoying my free little writhdrawals from the multiple accounts I created🧐.

The site stayed for a month and was paying, it got everyone baffled. Because the scheme have proven strong, most of us decided to joined the league of people that deposited and that was because of the fact that they stopped the free Withdrawal on the entry level- you must deposit to be able to withdraw. It's not a big deal since it's paying, after all Ponzi is running in our blood already hahah. So we entered with $10 which was the minimum deposit to get $10 continously till the site crashes(lifetime Earning). Yeah, just $10 and you'd be getting $10 and above every month till the end of the site and the best thing is that, there's weekly withdraw. To be sincere, lots of us made money but...💔

Anita was a member of the group that was silently milking money from the site, nobody knew she had millions on the site till the site crashed.

Few months of the positive existence of the site, they started having payment issue from gateways, which they changed gateways two times and it persisted. So they stopped payment for just a day and Lamentations started gushing out.

That was when Anita came out and started crying. She would record voice note of complaints coupled with cry and drop on the group chats. Most of us didn't give a single concern because were victims as well.

I entered her Dm to really know why hers was different, she was relieved at that spot and explained everything to me.

She said that this 'supposed virtual' company contacted her online and asked if she could work as a physical staff, she agreed and they drafted the Earning terms, they rented an office for her, bought her laptop and gave her their banners and shirts. Her work was to be advertising the platform physically in the area, the more she brings in People the more she earn in a weekly basis. She resigned from her workplace because of the new job, she moved everywhere and corner of the Town to advertise the platform and she got a lot of patronage. She did seminars too(she forwarded the videos to me), she went to her previous work place and successfully Introduced her bosses. They invested millions in to the site. It worked well, they were getting payment until. Just like I said, she was millions of from her hardwork and due to greediness, she was Investing back everything as she was receiving, to accumulate more and earn bigger (the site works with-the more you deposit the more you earn)

So that was why her Lamentations and cries were much.

To cut the story shut, the site finally closed down and she almost killed herself. We had to be with her on call 24/7 to make sure her mind was at peace. Funny enough, she was a married woman with two kids, but that moment the children were with her husband in another state. She was later arrested by the people she scammed(to them, she was the one that scammed them). She was detained for two weeks and was later released with the agreement that she would pay a sum to the victims. The husband came and helped her out to cover up with the payment and since then, she vowed not to engage in anything called Ponzi again.

Closing words

But what would make someone to go to that extent of advertising a Ponzi site offline? That was the question we asked, but you can't blame some people, they are quick to jump into conclusion on which site is Ponzi or not.
