1917 The revolution: that changed his world.

Time of the Tsars of Russia. Time of absolutist governments; in which the Tsar had all political and religious power. “1917” time of conflicts and divisions where the population was divided and the majority of oppressed without any rights other than to serve in servitude. Tired of so much oppression and years of servitude; a voice was raised against the Tsar, which took so much force that no one could stop it. Thus we begin a chapter of history full of plots and conspiracies, which removed from power an entire line of authoritarian and absolutist monarchs. The year was 1894, with the recent death of Tsar Alexander III, his son Nicholas II ascended to the throne with the intention of reforming the Tsarist government. In 1905 he promulgated the October Manifesto that granted Russians some political rights and benefits, such as freedom of expression and freedom of assembly. This manifesto was presented to society with the intention of satisfying the desire for freedom that ran through the streets and corridors of the community. However, this Manifesto was clearly an insult to the Russian people, who immediately took to the streets. The country suffered a revolution, which was repressed in favor of the Tsar. The revolution left Nicholas II weakened, and the Russian monarchy in crisis. In the following years, Nicholas II governed in a more authoritarian manner. Thus dissolving the first State Duma, a parliament elected by the people and for the people. The deputies presented a series of laws that sought to reform the Tsarist government. These laws included the creation of a government responsible to the Duma, agrarian reform and the improvement of the living conditions of workers. After the events, he also personally took charge of repressing the opposing political movements, such as the socialists and the revolutionaries. The First World War breaks out and with this we pause in history; but only to send a greeting to Edbeth; and also to remind you to leave your great like that helps me a lot and to subscribe if you want more similar content. With the outbreak of war: the mandate of Nicholas II. It was a disaster for Russia, and the Tsarist government was unable to handle the situation effectively. Causing a food shortage and an economic crisis, which led to a significant increase in popular discontent. From the streets, and through books, but mainly from his exile in Western Europe a man raised his voice. Named Vladimir Lenin, he would later become the leader of the Bolshevik Party, which was in favor of the socialist revolution in Russia, and believed that the proletariat, the working class, should take state power and establish it for themselves and by force. In March 1917, a series of strikes and demonstrations forced Nicholas II to abdicate the throne for his own safety. The Tsar was deposed and a provisional government was established. Led by Alexander Kerensky, a liberal politician, Kerensky faced a number of challenges, including World War I, popular discontent, and political division. This also meant that he was unable to meet the demands of the Russian people, who were calling for immediate peace and land reform. After Lenin's arrival and his publication of the April Theses, the Bolsheviks began to prepare their new revolution and, taking advantage of popular discontent with the government, they made their move by starting the real revolution. The phrase "Power comes from the cannon" was soon established. This phrase, uttered by Lenin in the midst of the revolution, summed up the Bolsheviks' belief in violence as a means to achieve their success. The workers and soldiers of Petrograd joined in. On the one hand, the workers rebelled against the provisional government, and the soldiers supported the Bolsheviks in a coup. The Bolsheviks took control of the main government buildings, the capital of Russia, and then arrested the leaders of the provisional government. Lenin's words upon taking the state were a call to action for the Russian people. Lenin promised a new world, a world in which the workers would be free and the oppressed would be liberated.
