The Torres del Paine park, in Patagonia, Chile, has been declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO. In the huge park there are many animals, pumas, guanacos, foxes, hares and condors, high mountains, rushing rivers and the Glaciar Gray, this large glacier from which icebergs are detached that float and melt in the lagoon. It is a true spectacle of nature! The photos are from the December / January 2004 trip @simonewanderlust #onlyoriginalcontent

Yes the water has a surprising blue color, in the next posts I will show the rushing rivers and waterfalls that are generated by the melting of the ice
Those places are almost incredible! Hope those Torres will be preserved like they are... that part of the world is very rich in many things and also they have an amazing nature.
Yes, nature in this region is absolute master, there are neither villages nor cities for many kilometers, you can get there after many hours of pick up and then trek to discover the most beautiful places with a local guide

It is actually very hard, it is compact ice coming down from the glacier
