Part II

Years, centuries, and millennia of secrets surround Morath Island. It is unthinkable that such an advanced society, as certain records and tales claim, would not transcend beyond a legend. The writings of Amadeus Bennet may be exceptional in the world because it is an irrefutable proof that this island hid many things. But the myths and legends that arose, before, during, and after Amadeus, are much more impressive than the famous explorer wrote.

The problem is that, as with gypsies, the story of Morath Island has only transcended by word of mouth, for some strange reason, it was only Amadeus the only one who wrote about it, but the others were growing the huge legend of the island, as tales and stories, almost intentionally, as if the Morathians wanted exactly that.

During the medieval era, which succumbed to the darkness of ignorance, the legend was gradually extinguished, only a few scholars (of the few that existed) knew the stories surrounding the island. Those scholars then died at the hands of those who did not tolerate knowledge of religion, so the work of years disappeared, when again, libraries and places where most likely these scholars had left records of the island were burned, so again, the knowledge had to survive, through the stories told.

Years passed, and with it, the curiosity to know more about this place grew, but it was not taken so seriously this time. However, we have been able to verify that the great civilizations of the ancient world knew and were aware of Morath Island, there was mutual respect between these peoples.

The Akkadians, the Harappan civilization, Babylon, the Sumerians, the Chinese empire, and of course Ancient Greece, all of them had some contact with Morath Island, probably many of their technological advances may have come from the Morathians, or it could have been the other way around, and these peoples helped build the myth made island. What is impressive in this respect is that not only the aforementioned peoples have had something to do with Morath. Aztecs and Mayas are also linked.

The more I study it, the less I understand how such a modern people disappeared leaving no trace, but it makes me think it was simply something merely orchestrated, but the reason keeps me awake at night because for a long time they talked about a natural cause, but this goes beyond that, how such a prominent people left without leaving a trace? Because they knew they were going to disappear, they had it planned, and now they are on another plane, or they continue to operate from the shadows.

It's disturbing. They must be out there posing as citizens, or just watching us every step we take forward... or backward? I didn't expect to do any kind of essay on the matter or writing concerning the island, but recent events make me seriously rethink that silence.

Whether they are bad or good, that is unknown, but in times as convulsed as the present, I can assume that they are here either to repair all the damage or because they are the ones who have caused all this disaster. Morath Island, the myth that may come true, or always was, is confusing, but the passion of a lifetime finally seems to take shape.

The HAARP project, ever read about it? A machine capable of creating natural disasters, well, something tells me that beyond a conspiracy theory created by the Americans to unleash chaos, as if it were an idea of a cartoon supervillain, it is something real, but not exclusive. Maybe that kind of technology was used millennia ago by the Morathians to leave no trace, but in such a way that it seems they never existed.

We will know more soon, of that I am sure.
