Today is the first day of Bengali new year. Bengali nation celebrate this year in traditional way. This year we are not celebrating it in a traditional way. This article is going to focus on some negative sides of celebration time when women or girls mostly become the victim. This side can be call the dark side of celebration.

Not only new year celebration but also in other celebration time women suffers. Ratio of it may up and down but it still exist. There is a celebration known as Holi where people throw color to each other and found drinking alcoholic drink. As a result, many people lost their sense and become a beast.

Once in television series there were real story from life that a house maid became the victim of group rape. Those rapist were from well reputed family and close the case without any Justice. It was celebration time when they were drunk and raped the housemaid brutally.

The housemaid was poor and has no social status or power to protest against this inhumanity. Every year it found in celebration time and in neighbour countries where celebration is a matter of every month mostly found women molestation, rape, even killed. Celebrating is not bad but we should ensure the Safety of women. Shouldn’t allow alcoholic drinks in celebration, if allow better separate area.

Many kids even become victim of such inhuman torture. So my concern is before celebrating any festival or any happiness make sure it not going to bring something unexpected, it won't bring any curse in your life. Celebration should bring happiness not sorrows.

Let's talk about another negative part of celebration. Every year in new year eve party many area affected by firing. Being careless, drink and drive mainly cause unexpected death. Fire burns everything and celebration turns to sorrow. Young friends drink and drive and spot dead. These kind of news very common in celebration time. I'm not blaming the celebration time but I'm blaming careless people who often found cross the limit and as a result accidents happen.

If we ensure safety, celebration can be happiest for us. So better we do celebrate in a healthy environment and stay safe as much we can. Better we do not play with fires and avoid driving when already drunk.
