Being "Kuripot" or Stingy. It's always good to budget and save our money. In my opinion, we should also teach the children how to do it. Like for example, giving them an allowance worth twenty pesos or fifty or one hundred or more, tell them to set aside money for their fare, snacks, lunch (if they didn't bring any food), and so on. Doing these, will make them aware of budgeting as young as they are. I know, everyone of us here knew how to manage their money on their own. So please, share us how you do it. Hehe. For being "kuripot" or stingy, I became like this when I have to think of my or our future benefits. I mean, I work hard and save more. But it doesn't mean that I starve myself, unlike what I did before when I was a student. I bought my piano keyboard worth P14,500 back in 2015. I make sure to get first what I needed the most not what I only want. I will share more of my experiences to you as we go on. Before going to the market, I see to it that I make my lists first. This way, I can see what to buy and not to buy. This helps me to avoid buying unnecessary things. Of course, I also save for my leisure wants too. Hihi. What about you? Share your stories now. I am kuripot since birth lol. I practice minimalism and only buy what I truly need. Pampering yourself is okay but don't exaggerate. I haven't shopped for myself in 2 yrs. I wear the same shirt I bought 5 yrs ago lol I don't do parties. I don't celebrate bdays. A piece of cupcake and coffee along with prayer is more than enough. I rarely go out and dine. Pwede picture picture lang pero wag ubusin and 5k sa isang upuan lang para lang may maipost ka sa social media I cook my food at home. Tipid now para wag ngaga later :)
