Inspired from someone's post. Tagalog or Filipino? 🤔 1937 - Tagalog (official language of the Philippines) 1987 - Filipino (official language of the Philippines) , until today. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Tagalog has 20 letters while Filipino has 28 letters. Up to present, linguists call our language as Filipino, officially. But people in the Philippines are called Filipinos or if it's one, Filipino. Same name for language and nationality. 😅 Are there other countries with the same official language and nationality name? Critics are welcome to give their opinions. 😊 Thank you. Details are searched from the google. Sometimes, I get confused as well. Good afternoon!
