It's good to be back here again... 😊 Hello diligent noise.cash posters... How are you? Good evening... Good evening... ☺️ I miss posting here so here I am again after four months. Hehehe. Hmmm. Nothing important to post but I have my personal news to share. It's about the importance of having a second opinion. So here it goes... By the way, my pregnancy will be turning eight months this eleventh of October 2022... I believe, every woman nowadays, as long as they can afford it, are excited to have their ultrasounds just to check on their little ones in their womb. Just like me, I had my first when my baby in the womb turned four months old. So, do you know that feeling when it's your first time seeing the head, hands, feet, body of your first born child to be? I guess, every mother can't completely explain their feelings just like me. Hehe. Well, everything was normal according to the Sonologist. The baby was healthy and all. And so, I was overwhelmed. Then I had my second ultrasound when he turned six months old. Unexpectedly, the Sonologist said that I had mild Oligohydramnios. I asked, "what do you mean?" "It means that your amniotic fluid for this trimester is decreased. You need to drink lots of water..." she said. I got worried of course. Huhu. What's happening. I almost cried when they said that I needed to be admitted. But then, I refused to be admitted. I don't know but I had the feeling inside that me and my baby are healthy. No unusual discharges like water/fluid/blood. Then I signed a paper, stating that I refused admission. Whew. Then, on the seventh month, I went there again. I thought everything was normal But then again, the same sonologist said that I now had mild to moderate Oligohydramnios. "Again? Why?" I just asked myself. Huhu. And then, the doctor told me to be admitted. But again, I refused. I promised to them that I'll go back after a week or so. Oh, they also got my blood sample and urine. They also said that I had a UTI. Hmmm. My gosh. That was Friday by the way. I was not really contented. So I told my family to go to another hospital and ask for their second opinion and another ultrasound check-up to prove if I really had Oligohydramnios, which I did last Monday, three days after. So here it goes. On our way there, I prayed for a miracle to happen. It was my first time in that hospital. To cut the story short, I told them that I had my ultrasound checkup recently and that I needed a second opinion to prove if Oligohydramnios was real. I showed them my previous ultrasound results. The doctor said, "Okay, let's see if we will admit you." She was friendly actually. Then I had my ultrasound there. And YES, the result was normal. There were proofs that showed that the amniotic fluid was adequate for the trimester. AFI was 11.7. Hurray!!! The previous sonologist did not indicate any number which I think was suspicious. They did not admit me there because all the checkups I had were normal. Whew. What's important was, we're okay with my baby. We will go back there on the second week of this month for another prenatal checkup. So yeah, that's my news or maybe personal story for today. To all pregnant women, take care always.
