Land problems. They started as brothers and sisters. They lived as a family. They were neighbors. They lived in the same baranggay/province/city or nation. But there was something that made them hate each other. Which is the land. Who own the lands? This afternoon, while sitting inside the jeepney waiting for other passengers and driver to come, we heard our co-passengers talking with each other about the land. There was something unclear about their conversations. Moments later, this woman became angry shouting hysterically: "Uncle, please be quiet, okay? Let me tell you something. Did you know that you sold a land that was not yours many years ago? You sold it and that was other's sweat. So you should stay quiet and don't talk back." We were shocked in silence. What are they arguing about in public. It's something that is sensitive. Fortunately, their arguments stopped. The man stayed calm. Owning something which is not yours or stealing others' is not normal. Members of a family fight with each other or kill each other because of the land owning. This is mine! Mine! Mine! Mine! Are you like that? Then please, better stop it. We don't want you to continue with that kind of habit. Thanks for reading. Hot afternoon!
