@ShielaGanda more from that month

I've read a post earlier about a child who was forced by her mom to have piano lessons and was happy that at the end, she quitted. Happy ending I think. πŸ˜…. Suddenly I recalled my college days. I was desperate to buy a piano keyboard because I wanted to learn more. I just knew the basics of it. Before I started in college, I enrolled myself to a piano tutorial center. If I remembered it correctly, I only had almost thirty sessions and I stopped. I can no longer continue with my piano lessons due to the fact that I will be entering the university soon. I started my college freshmen years when I decided to save some of my allowances to buy a piano keyboard. I already reserved it actually from the piano tutorial center. πŸ˜…. Eventually, I was able to have enough fund. I gave the first payment of Php 5,000.00 and promised to pay the succeeding months. That was December 2015 and completed the payments on February 2016. So I was able to get the piano keyboard. It felt great inside. That piano was worth 15k in peso originally but atleast, they allowed to lower it down to P14,500 as a student discount. Haha. I struggled to achieve my goal. I starved myself for many weeks just to buy it. I was tempted to borrow 10k from someone but didn't continue. I never told this to my family, only when I bought it. They were surprised to hear it afterwards. I considered that as one of my early achievements in life. I don't advise you to starve yourself though. Until now, I have that piano with me. But I rarely used it. Seems like a decoration to my eyes only.πŸ˜…. I play it when there's a chance so it will not be dead. Planned to sell it but to recall those precious memories, banned me from doing so. I will never sell this piano. I hope that one day, when I have a kid, he or she will be interested with piano lessons. If not, I will surely donate it to someone who will treat it like its soulmate. 😊 So that's a piece of my life story. Hope you enjoyed it. 😊 What about you? What's that beautiful successful story within you? Please share it to us. You can tell your childhood story too or maybe now. It's up to you. Thanks. 😊 Below is my precious five-year old piano keyboard. It's getting older. Huhu... 😊 Thanks for reading. 😊
