I followed the World Cup in football very closely. I was most impressed by the Japanese fans and players, their culture of behavior and the respect and gratitude they show to everything. They cheered for their football players even when they lost, with a smile on their face, happy to have the opportunity to watch them. The players and the coach bowed to the pitch and the fans and thus showed humility because they were playing for them. They neatly tidied up the dressing rooms and the stadium after the match. Those pictures of fans collecting garbage from the stadium in bags have gone around the world. That bright example was followed by Morocco fans who also cleaned the stadium. There were no ugly shouts or delicate songs from the stands, as is the case here. There were no provocations or rough moves on the field. They fought until their last breath. They did not "kill" football with boring defenses, but attacked when they had the opportunity. They presented the culture of Japan in the best way and they have great respect and admiration from me. What they gave was returned to them manifold because people recognized the quality of humanity and great dignity. A bow!
