I used to have to go to Belgrade and buy foreign music newspapers in a small store in the city center in order to be informed about the latest releases. Gramophone records were hard to come by, music cassettes as well. We were left with the radio as the only means where we could listen to foreign music. I also single out the German magazine Bravo, which followed the pop scene in the 1980s. Posters of music stars were pasted on the walls of the rooms and our whole world was music. Today, everything is at my fingertips through the Internet, but the interest has lost its appeal and it seems to me that I have given up on music. You lose yourself, let alone what used to make you happy.
