Technology, a word that plays a very full role in the development of human life today. In today's era, perhaps most of the population around the world, including in my country, have enjoyed technological advances. Talking about technology is inseparable from the internet and gadgets which are the result of technology itself.
Technology and its rapid progress is very helpful for human life, even with existing technological advances it can create opportunities to make money without ever leaving home.
But perhaps without us realizing it, the technology that exists today turns into a threat in itself, if the technology is not able to be managed and instead dominates us.
Internet and gadgets are some of the results of these technological advances. Right now, everything has taken advantage of internet facilities, one of which is the world of education. In my country, in the last 2 years almost all schools and colleges, including elementary schools to high schools, have used internet facilities in the learning process up to the recruitment/admission of new students. This is a good progress, of course, considering that technology must be introduced as early as possible for positive use, as well as for the provision of entering the Free Market which will focus heavily on technology, of course, and advance our society.
In addition, it also helps pre-parents who previously did not understand the use of the internet so that they would accidentally learn and try to use it.
However, what is happening today is that most of us misuse technology, as is what is happening to children today. Existing technology makes them become individuals who prioritize themselves, far from direct social life, some even make technology or more precisely social media as a substitute for family, parents and friends.
The internet or social media keep them away from their families, and sometimes they even spend their time in front of their gadgets/computers.
The lack of supervisors and the absence of clear information about the pros and cons of technology are the main factors causing the misuse of technology in children, so it would be wise to use the existing technology as well as possible and become an Opportunity not a Threat.
