In time, Israel was forced to pay tributes to the king of Assyrian, then in the year 740 BCE, Samaria was conquered. Sennacherib,the king of Assyrian attempted to add in the list the Jerusalem whom Hezekiah was the king of Judah. But the angel of God annihilated the 185,000 of Assyrian troops in just one night. Nineveh was the primary capital of Assyrian Empire.
