which sport is your favourite and why? here is mine My favourite sport is cricket. this has been my favourite sport since childhood. i love the ebbs and flows of this great game. it is a like a game of chess that is being played with all the tactics that are involved in terms of getting the edge over your opponent. My favourite cricket match was the INDIA VS AUSTRALIA at Kolkata 2001 . the reason is because INDIA were 1 nil down in the series and facing the follow on and AUSTRALIA looked favourites to win their first series in INDIA after many years. the performances by VVS LAXMAN and RAHUL DRAVID with the bat was to behold and the bowling by HARBAJAN SINGH simply amazing. i think that day the world took notice especially AUSTRALIA that INDIA are true tigers at their own backyard. INDIA ended up winning the series 2-1 which was an amazing achievement as it all looked impossible after being enforced the follow on by AUSTRALIA.
