Painful but incredible end of Pak's journey in World-cup as the runner-up team

Usually, I write about mental health but this time I think to try something different!

At the start of the tournament, the Pakistan team faced two consecutive defeats from India and Zimbabwe. Both are nail-biting matches won by the better team in the end. In first match against India, match was fifty between the teams but in the end, Virat was incredible hitting two consecutive sixers in the second-last over and changing the game. Still, I can't able to understand, because it was just a flick by him, how can the ball goes for a six! Anyway, it was amazing to watch and better won at the end.

In the second match against Zimbabwe, the Pakistan team lost too by the pathetic batting display of the batsman but credit goes to Zimbabwe's bowling. The way their bowlers bowled the last 4 overs was wonderful. In the last 2 balls, 3 runs are required for Pakistan to win. But defeat was written in the Pakistan cricket team's faith and they lost.

With these two defeat Pak team was almost out of this world cup journey. But let me tell you an interesting fact which is that "Pakistan played finals even first two consecutive defeats. The term famous for this upward journey of the team is named " Qudrat ka nizam" through which Pakistani entered in semifinals and played world cup.

The third match Pakistan played was against South Africa, another strong candidate for lifting the world cup trophy but always suffered through bad luck and proteas never win a single ICC event but every time they have exceptional players in their team. PAK defeated SA then the Netherlands and Bangladesh.

But still, the Pak team's luck was in the Netherlands team's hands, they have to win their match against SA so that Pakistan can qualify. And NED won their SA which was a major upset of the world and a tragic day for Proteases.

Pakistan was on 2nd number from group two and quality for the semifinal. In the knockout game, they played their match against New Zealand where they defeated the blackcaps comfortably and qualified for the final.

13 November a final a big day, the match was played between England and Pakistan but unfortunately it was not Pakistan day. Both teams played well but England was a better side on the spot. An amazing display of bowling from Sam Curran, and Rashid and incredible batting by Ben Stokes. But the inswing delivery of Shaheen against Hales was remarkable, Hales hasn't any answers for this delivery. Pakistan lost and won $800,000 as a runner-up team.
