Ofcourse it's a very common title. Very few of them apply. Reason they have nothing much to boast. Truly speaking only when someone has something to boast about, they keep talking and talking with no end result.
Some peoples get pleasure by boasting their status, income, lifestyle etc. etc. either in an affluent group or in an low income group. For either of them it hardly matters. Cos the affluent group is already used to this kind of environment while the low income group is least bothered as they live in reality. According to them such boasting is to keep up themselves in an esteemed position in the society. They keep pondering over all silly things they do for the society. Not knowing its not the area of interest for the listeners.
On the other side there are wealthy people among us in our society. They do things just for the benefit of helping people, keeping themselves away from words of praise . The biggest appreciation is that they don't reveal their identify. They continue doing this out of happiness and the satisfaction they receive at the end of the day.
I was actually forced to write this topic as I came across some interesting experiences, close by me. Parents educate their children on the hope that one day they will be looked after in their old age by their so-called educated children. On the other hand once the children are grown up, take up a job of their choice, gets happily married and settled with family abroad they no more wanted to be back in their homeland and shoulder the responsibility of their aged parents. Instead they keep sending valuable gifts and make a visit once a while to make sure they are doing their duty. Here they think that by making a visit once a while or by gifting them, makes them perfect. They never lose a chance to boast about it, when questioned. In old age, parents need someone to talk to in person and not material gains. Never forget that we are being watched by the Almighty.
