Keeping in track . . .
The world that we are currently living in is a world full of temptation. It tempt us to go beyond our limitations. It tempt us to try beyond what we can bear. It tempt us to act beyond our control. It tempt us to sin which causes us to drift away from the presence of God. *"But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ" - 2 Corinthians 11:3* As a Christian, it is one of our responsibilities to devote ourselves to God. But often that not, we failed to do our part because we are so much engaged with all the happenings in this world. The enemy tries to convince and deceive us to go and explore this sinful world. That is why it is important for us to always be in God's presence and to be aligned or in track with Him. I would like to share 4 ways on how we can keep in track with God. **Always talk to God** *Let prayer be part of your daily routine.* Whether we admit it or not there are times wherein we only pray because we are in trouble or because we have something to ask for. Do not pray just because you are in need or you are in trouble. In times of trouble, sadness, victory and happiness always pray. *1 Thessalonians 5:7* **Be consistent in making your devotion** *If you want to grow your faith, make time for devotion.* One of the hardest thing to comply on as a Christian is to consistently make our devotions for it consumes our time. However making our devotion is a sign that we are His servants and we are in aligned with Him. It gives us the opportunity to grow our faith and to create a deeper relationship with God. *Joshua 1:8* **Make time in reading His words.** *The word of God is very powerful.* We can never know the great promises of God for us if we do not open our bible and make time reading His words. A man can not live by bread alone for it is not enough. A man should also live with every word that comes out from the mouth of God. Reading His words allow us to know God more- to know and understand His wills and promises for us. *Matthew 4:4* **Be faithful at all times.** *Faithfulness is always a choice* Being faithful is always a choice- the decision is always in us. It is for us to decide whether we walk with God or go in our own ways. It is for us to decide whether we want to carry the cross with Him or not. The choice is always ours. The devil will always find ways to distract us in serving God so let us try to resist and remain faithful in Him. *Revelation 2:10* Life here on earth is just temporary. The things that you have; your money, branded clothes, luxurious cars, big house or business- every material thing that you have are just temporary. So stop investing things here on earth, you should invest above because there is eternal life in there with God.
