You Don't Need Medals to Make Me Proud In this time of pandemic, the most common tool we use to communicate is via messenger. That includes me and my siblings. We do have our group chat, and we use it to make everyday check on each other and also tackle about our daily activities. Earlier today, my only sister and our eldest brother proudly shared on our groupchat the achievements of their kids. Of course, because their kids are my nephew, I genuinely felt happy and proud as well that their kids received medals as one of the top students in their school. After chatting with them, of course I also shared the good news to my son, and I was not expecting his response. He then said to me, "good for them, bad for me because I am not like them. I can't make you proud". I was surprised because I wasn't expecting his reaction. But, I snapped out from it, hugged him tight and told him sincerely, " that isn't true. Medals or no medals I am always proud of you. The little things that you do, the little achievements that you do, the effort the you do to be at your best always makes me proud. Having a medal is just a bonus. No need to compare yourself to your cousins. You want a medal? Then you need to do harder than you usually do, but do not just do it because you are competing with them, just because you feel like you are oblige to do it. Do it because it is what you want. It is what you aim. Focus. But always remember, mama loves you so I am always PROUD of you. Okay?". Kiss him on his forehead, and I saw a smile on his face, showing relief. We must always remind our kids that we are proud of them. No matter what happens, and no matter how tough the situation is. Let us always show them that we are always here to support them in whatever they do and let us not pressure them. Let us be with them all through out their journey without expecting too much from them. Let them be at their best, they don't need to be better than anyone just to prove their worth, let us just remind them to be a better version of themselves. Very Happy Hello to all. So, yesterday I did not post anything on my account. Because yesterday was birthday. Been very busy. We had a double celebration since tomorrow will be my first daughter's birthday, we celebrated it yesterday as well. It was a very simple celebration. I just wanna thanks those who greeted me yesterday. I feel so blessed yesterday despite the struggles that we've been through this year, I was able to be with my family on my birthday. Nursery Rhymes I am pretty sure moms out there can definitely relate to this article. This is all about nursery rhymes our kids would listen every now and then. From chuchu tv, cocomelon and there's super jojo. Those are just one of those that my kids would watch. They even have my phone most of the time just because of these. Ever tried humming those kiddie songs without you noticing? Because we always hear it, we're even surprised that we're already singing along with it. We are already familiar with it. When I cuddle with my kids, it would automatically come out from me, singing to them those nursery rhymes, to get their attention. To make connection to them. It made me realized that it is somehow good to know these songs, to better bond with our kids. Because they pay attention to you when they see you singing the songs they love. I'd love to learn more of these kiddie songs, I use it as a good night song to them. I recommend it to the moms whose not familiar with these yet. If there is. Secret Love Song Cover By Morissette Amon Hello everyone! So this is my reaction to one of the beautiful song covers I had heard. So, last night, I could not sleep so I watched music videos of various artists until I decided to watch song covers from local singers. I chose Morissette and listened to her cover of secret love song. She's one of the talents from Abs-Cbn network. Going back to her cover, it was so beautiful. I was so amazed how she sang it effortlessly. Her high range was so good and it feels so good to listen to her voice. I checked video reactions from foreign voice coaches while they were watching morissette's video and they were also stunned. Simply because she is great. She just knows how to control her voice, the ways she executed her high notes were just so perfect. You might also wanna listen to it guys, you will definitely love her voice. She also covers Rise up and Never enough. She nailed every song. She's like an angel sent from above to sing for us. Sounds a bit exaggerated? Then you have to check it out. Good Morning Hello everyone. Good morning to all. Last night I did not have a good night sleep. I found out someone was betraying me. I felt devastated and felt sad of course. I thought people would change in the long run specially if we have given them millions of chances to change. To be better. But some people just don't. They will become abusive on the chances you gave. They will take advantage. But, despite the bad feeling I have, I choose to wake up this morning with a positive thought in me. I won't let anyone make me feel depress again. I won't let anyone break me again and leave me feeling alone and broken. I have my family. My kids. My friends. If people does not want to be better then let them be. I will continue to do good and be better myself. I won't let anyone destroy me for I know God is with me. Classes Postpone Just saw on the news right now (Balitang Bisdak) that the opening of classes for public schools will be move to October 5, 2020. As per DepEd, the reason for this is to make sure that the school and the teachers will have enough time to prepare for the opening of classes and to make sure that everything is ready. For me it is okay. Postpone or not, I will just definitely follow on what they think is better. I am ready and prepared if class will open on the 24th of August. I already prepared what I need for modular classes. Once the teachers of my students confirm to us the Announcement of the moved date for the opening of the classes, then we need to follow.
