Love Is Turbulent Around Aeronautical Engineers

Uhh. Believe me, do not fall for aeronautical engineers. They are indecisive, and I should know because I have a bit of experience with them. The first one did not even last long enough to know my name. He followed me on Instagram, and a few days later he just unfollowed me for some reason. He was cute, and I told myself I was ready to talk to someone new after a long heartbreak. But somehow this person managed to break my heart before I even really knew him. And then I met another aeronautical engineer (it was a total coincidence), the one I mentioned in my past posts. At first, things were okay. We were having fun, chatting, and enjoying each other’s company over the phone. But a few days later, the messages went cold, like my coffee. He barely messages anymore. There are no more good morning texts like I used to receive. Just like today, he only messaged me once, and it was all about work. Nothing more, nothing less. But just now, he liked my Instagram story. I smiled, which I hate so much. Ugggh! Going back, where am I? Okay... Ehrm... As I was saying... I am not taking back what I said. Maybe he is just like that because he can benefit from the field I am in. Of course he will get clients whenever our client needs PU flooring. He is the one I will call because I know him and his product is tested. That is what I keep telling myself, so I do not expect anything from him. But you know what, I feel used again. Why are they like that? Just because they can get something from me, they act like they like me even when they are not really interested. I was just sitting here thinking… I know who I am. I know I am beautiful inside and out. I am kind-hearted, brave, intelligent, empathetic, talented, and independent… maybe even too independent, so much that everyone thinks I don’t need help. Huwaaaah. I NEED HELP! I don’t want to be this strong anymore. I just want to be a baby girl, the kind of girl someone would see as fragile and feel like he has to take care of with his life. But honestly, I realized I’m just sad because I’m ovulating, and there’s nothing I can do about it. Huhu. I don’t have a boyfriend to hang out with. I don’t have a biceps pillow to squeeze. I don’t have someone to touch, hug, or kiss. Huhu. I’m longing, yearning for someone’s love, affection, and attention. It’s really sad, isn’t it? And yeah, just like what I experienced with those aeronautical engineers, there’s indeed a lot of turbulence. For someone like me who gets motion sickness, it makes me really sick just dealing with what they do. The ups and downs, the sudden coldness, the messages that disappear like clouds on a windy day — it all hits me harder than it should. But maybe that is the thing about turbulence. It is messy, uncomfortable, and sometimes downright painful. It shakes you, tests you, and makes you question everything. And yes, I have had my share of rough flights with these aeronautical engineers, but I am still here. I am still me, strong, messy, emotional, and real. For now, I will let myself feel it all, the heartbreak, the longing, the frustration. I will cry, I will rant, I will sigh. But I will also remind myself that this turbulence does not define me. One day, I will land somewhere calm, where someone sees all of me, my strength, my softness, my independence, and my vulnerability, and loves me not for what I give, but for who I am. Until then, I will buckle up, hold on, and ride out the storm. *You make me so mad most of the time, Ivan.* *But I can’t hate you… not yet. Maybe soon.*
