"Mahirap maging Mahirap" I'm working on a government hospital and when you say government hospital, almost all of our patients are in the low income and poor group. "Mahirap maging mahirap" The common phrase I can hear to a relayive or patient why they came to the hospital late is "Naghanap pa po kami ng pera" The most common reason of the delay or not getting treated immediately is because they can't afford the things/medicines needed for them. Yes, we have our supplies in the hospital and we can give it for them for free. But, it would be a different story if the supply needed isn't available in our institution. So they should need to buy it outside from their own pocket. This is just some of the reason why I can say "Mahirap maging mahirap" and there's a lot more.
