My daughter fall asleep early. She must be tired learning the phonics and writing the alphabets. Anyways, to all the parents here. Do you spank your kids when they did something bad? I would want to never spank my daughter but sometimes I can't tolerate anymore her behavior. Even though i told her not to do that but she keeps on doing it. The old saying goes when you got spank by your parents, you are loved. I just want to teach her what is wrong and what is bad.

Spanking does not serve any purpose long term. It will only turn the behavious to worse or -in the worst case- suppress that emotions deeply only to emerge later in life when the restrictions become looser - being a spanker oneself. They are way better ways to discipline children, but they all require strong discilpine by the parent.
