0 0

In a government-private sector task force, Hackers are targeting top managers of a German multinational corporation. More than 100 senior executives have already attempted to steal their user credentials.

The German government directed the group to use its experience and international business contacts to obtain PPE including medical equipment and facial masks. The attacks are ongoing and other leading individuals are participating in this attempt to potentially achieve future goals, scientists claim.

"This malicious campaign may probably involve extra people in the workplace, which will require greater vigilance," they say. Currently, the number of the compromised account from these hits is still not aware in cases when it occurs, attackers can control the accts of the victims so as to steal valuable information.

The threat actor uses built-in hyperlinks to redirect the prospective victim to phishing pages that collect credentials from its victims.
