500-490 BC, thought to have been manufactured in a Greek workshop in Southern Italy. It is thought that the war equipment dated to between BC and B.C. belonged to a warrior named "Denda"... Among the finds called “Denda's tomb”, there is a well-preserved Greaves, Corinthian helmet and spearhead. In the "Grave" the warrior's name "Denda" is engraved on the left thigh. When compared to the equipment in the statues of warriors found on the pediments of the Temple of Aphaea in Aigina, the remarkable similarity is striking... * It is exhibited in the "Staatliche Antikensammlungen" museum in the State of Bavaria in Munich, which houses the Greek, Etruscan and Roman Antique Collections... Ancient Greek War Shields... @arkeoportal SEDEF DINKCI...
