8:55 A.M. CDT USA April 16th 2022 Olney Illinois There is an extremely gorgeous male tabby wandering the neighborhood today that really needs to find somewhere else to howl around before Scar rips it a new asshole. Scar was so determined he was going to go outside and find it that he growled and swatted at ME because I told him he needed to just stay in. lol A sunny Saturday morning, a bit on the nipply side, went out to spike a few ears of corn on the Fabled Squirrel Tree™ and it ain't exactly t-shirt weather, but close. Occasionally I have to holler at Scar or Emoci when I see they are taking off to go exploring out of the yard, but mostly they are good about staying in it and come back when called. Petey, however, thinks he is a law unto himself; and I guess he is. Although this is where he chooses to eat (and take the occasional nap) he has never really become MY cat and pretty much does whatever he wants to do. I gave up yelling at him because he just ignores me and keeps on about his business (which at the moment seems to concern the neighbor's house across the street).
