10:22 A.M. #Caturday 17 December 2022 Somewhere in southeastern Illinois USA Currently cold and more cold all weekend until Monday afternoon when allegedly it will reach 2 degrees for a high of the day. High today and tomorrow are both 0 degrees. So I started me up a crock pot/slow cooker batch of chili around 4:30 A.M. my time and it will be done with its 6-hour cook in about 8 more minutes. The weather radar shows ice/snow, but looking out the window there is no precipitation of any type currently. Meanwhile, I'm off to see the Wizard... Oh, I love being able to edit the photos now - as a bonus, here's one of the squirrels feeding in the Squirrel Tree out front of the house, putting on the winter fat.

We can add new ones but it seems like you changed the lead image. That was new to me.

4:42 Sunday evening and it is currently -2 out. My natural gas heating bill is going to royally suck next month.
I don't doubt it. If my household has a gas bill, it's because we've had a prolonged power outage. Third World problems and all that.
